01Overview
Signalstac is a public-presence inbox: an AI agent that browses public developer communities, scores what’s relevant to you, and drafts replies in your voice. This policy explains what data we handle to make that work, and the choices you have.
We try to collect as little as possible. We don’t sell your data, and we never post anything on your behalf without your action.
02What we collect
Account information
When you create a workspace we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. If you subscribe, our payment processor handles your billing details — we never see full card numbers.
Workspace configuration
The sources, topics, competitors, and intents you ask us to watch, plus the writing samples you provide to model your voice.
Usage data
Basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the product is used — which features you interact with and aggregate performance metrics — so we can improve it.
03How we use it
- To browse and score public community threads against your configuration
- To draft reply suggestions modeled on your writing samples
- To deliver your ranked queue, digests, and webhooks
- To operate, secure, and improve the service
- To communicate with you about your account and support requests
We do not use your private workspace data to train third-party foundation models, and we do not sell personal information.
04Public community data
Signalstac reads content that is already publicly visible on platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, Lobsters, Dev.to, and Product Hunt. We access this content through a real browser, the same way a person would, and only to surface threads relevant to your workspace.
We store only what’s needed to show you the thread, explain why it surfaced, and track what you replied to. We respect each platform’s terms and rate limits.
05Your voice samples
The writing samples you provide are used solely to model your tone for draft suggestions within your own workspace. They are not shared with other customers and are deleted when you remove them or close your workspace.
07Retention
We keep workspace data for as long as your account is active. When you close your workspace, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain records for legal or accounting purposes.
08Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify you promptly of any breach that affects you.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights from your workspace settings or by contacting us.
